Our Story

Founded in 2023 by Codee Maves and Josh Marx, The Metal Works Co. brings over 25 years of combined experience across private and union sectors. We specialize in delivering high-quality custom metal fabrication, fencing, gates and railings.

We work with homeowners and many of Southern California’s most respected builders and visionaries, delivering products from simple to surreal, essential to high end.

When you do the work, you understand the work, and what it takes to present the very best final product. As founders, we have physically done the welding, the woodwork, the wiring, and finished painting. We bridge vision and execution through coordination, thorough planning, and hands-on expertise.

Clear communication is essential. Asking the right questions is critical. Listening is how we get it right.
